IT Support Officer Apprentice
LION HEALTH LIMITED The IT and Management Support Officer will support the practice as directed by the Team Leaders and Operations Managers in the delivery of administrative and systems support for the practice.
Working week: Start: 8.30am. Finish: 4.30pm and 4.00pm on the college day.
Total hours per week: 37.00
This is a pivotal role which sits within Management Support, but interacts with all teams within the practice to ensure that the IT, clinical and document management systems are robust, used correctly and operate efficiently.
Lion Health is looking for someone with a positive outlook who is hardworking and adaptable to the conflicting demands of the role.
There are two main elements to the role. The first includes the provision of IT support, in relation to:
- Reacting to and solving issues which may occur with systems, printers and software and
- Proactive interventions that ensure the continued functionality of all Lion Health systems
You will also provide administrative support to projects and audits and assist with the rollout of new systems as directed by the Management Team. This might include organising meetings, collating feedback and gathering data. Not only will you possess an inherent capability to pick up systems well and retain knowledge, you will also have strong interpersonal skills as this role involves working with both internal and external customers.
The second element of the role is to acquire an operational knowledge of the Human Resources and Education/Finance elements of the Management Support function. This involves ensuring that data is recorded, managed and stored in an efficient manner. You will also be required to liaise with the Central Services IT Supplier to create accounts for new employees and to assist with initial training and ongoing support.
