Uniformed Services at Uxbridge College is a highly successful area of provision, producing above benchmark success rates and providing excellent training opportunities for those seeking a career in the Uniformed Public Services.  Our students are highly motivated and we create a disciplined learning environment that prepares them for a career in the Police, Armed Services, Fire Brigade or Ambulance Services.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed professional to teach on a range of programmes in the Uniformed Services area, including levels 1-3. The role will involve leading outdoor and residential activities, and delivering fitness training.

You will need to be qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in a relevant subject area, and have work experience in one of the three Armed Services or have worked in the Emergency Services. Some teaching/training experience is desirable, but more important is the ability to communicate effectively and be able to engage young people aged 16-19. If you are not a trained teacher, the College will support you to obtain this qualification through the two years of the course.
