WHAT WE DO 

We are a recruiting for a highly motivated and ambitious assessor who can assess and support Law apprentices against the relevant standards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Plan, prepare and create training, skills development and assessment plans in accordance with quality standards
  • To deliver quality training and assessment in appropriate environments to achieve successful outcomes for learners and employers
  • Supervise learner work experience and or placements
  • Assess student work, provide feedback to help the learner improve and record learner’s progress
  • Create targets and track, monitor and record progress against them. Implement interventions where needed
  • Build positive relationships with learners and provide support to ensure successful outcomes
  • Maintain CPD in subject specialist knowledge and skills, as well as training and assessment, to ensure training and assessment conforms to current best practice
  • Maintain quality standards.

YOUR PROFILE 

  • Experience of delivery of training/ instructing groups and assessing learning
  • Experience of working in industry within at least one of the relevant curriculum areas relating to the role
  • Experience of working with young people
  • Experience of working with employers and other stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with learners at different levels
  • Ability to keep accurate and timely records
  • Excellent organisational skills, ensuring deadlines are met IT literate including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and databases i.e. Microsoft Word, Access and Excel and Google platforms
  • Ability to create suitable targets for individual learners to support achievement and progression

If you are an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen and you were resident in the UK on or before 31 December 2020, you have until 30 June 2021 to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme, you can continue to prove your right to work in the UK with your passport and identity card up until 30 June 2021. 

There is no change to immigration and right to work for British and Irish Citizens.
