We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and committed teacher of A level Art & Design (Fine Art) to join our Sixth Form team.  The College is experiencing growth in the Sixth Form and we are looking for an exceptional individual to join our distinctive educational setting. 

You will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed in this subject.  You will prepare and plan innovative and effective lessons; assess and give feedback on a regular basis; mark and standardise work in line with exam board regulations; engage with internal and external moderation processes; monitor the performance of students against Alps target grades; and provide effective intervention strategies to ensure the success of all students in meeting or exceeding their target grade.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of A level Art & Design to Year 12 and Year 13 students, following the OCR specification Design (‘Fine Art’ and ‘Art, Craft & Design’), and will be expected to make significant contributions to the outcomes of the area.  They will contribute to the delivery of OCR Level 3 Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma in Art and Design.  Applicants will have experience of delivering the Art and Design A level specification.

A relevant degree is essential and applicants must already have a teaching qualification. You will also have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively in a large team.The Sixth Form is a priority department for Loughborough College and we are looking for candidates who will work to build on successful outcomes within this area and embrace exciting and innovative modes of delivery.
