The Faculty of Health Care & Animal Science is a high performing area which offers a wide range of courses for learners from Level 1 through to Foundation Degree. With the anticipated growth of the area, we are looking for enthusiastic and experienced health and social care trainer / assessor to join our team.

The successful candidates will be student focused, have passion, drive and commitment that shines through to create outstanding learning and assessment opportunities. They will have excellent communication skills, have empathy, understanding and the ability to inspire and engage young people to excel and achieve their learning goals. The roles will also include visiting work placements and liaising with employers and other stakeholders.

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate that they have experience of using a range of assessment methods, learning technologies as well as a willingness to continue to update their skills through directed and self-directed CPD.

Ideally the successful candidates will hold an assessor and IQA qualification, however professional development and training is available to support this.
