Team Leader - People (Learning Resources)

The Academic Services Team is looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to join a team of innovative, responsive and customer-focused staff.  The successful candidate will provide line management to a team of Learning Resource Assistants, providing support to staff and students in accessing information and services within the Learning Resource Centre at North Lindsey College and the HE Library and the University Centre North Lincolnshire. Learning Resources are an essential and well-regarded College service who support the high-quality learning and teaching necessary for the success of all students.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grades A-C including English and maths, excellent communication and customer care skills and line management experience, although exceptional candidates without supervisory experience, may be considered for the role. Duties will include line management responsibilities, deputising for the Manager of Learning Resources, providing access to physical and electronic resources and information services for staff and students, promoting services and communicating using a wide range of media, and maintaining appropriate study environments.

The ability to work flexibly is essential as the successful applicant may be required to work in any of the Learning Resources environments and at short notice in response to service demand.  The work pattern includes occasional evening and Saturday duties, with time off in lieu.
