Perth College UHI is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Lecturer – Electrical Installation to join our team to support the teaching of Electrical programmes. The campus is well resourced to deliver a first-class learning experience with a well-balanced mix of lecture theatres, classrooms, laboratories and training workshops.

As a lecturer within your specialisation, you will be responsible for preparing materials for learning, teaching and assessment; for the teaching of theory and practical aspects; supervising student project work; and contributing to the development of the UHI programmes in the Built Environment. Opportunities for personal development are available through the UHI and at other universities.

Candidates should as a minimum hold a level 3 qualification in the subject area. You will also have practical industrial experience in the Electrical Installation Area

In addition, candidates should be a well-motivated, self-starter with good communication skills who is able to work effectively with a team.
