Employability Mentor - Cynnydd Project (Project Funded)

Pembrokeshire College is currently seeking to appoint Employability Mentors to join the Employability team.  This department delivers a range of support for both young people, and unemployed adults in Pembrokeshire. There are four fixed term roles available.

Salary Details:  
£23,581 - £25,534 pro rata (equivalent to £12.26 -  £13.27 per hour)

Roles:      
Full-time (37 hours per week)
Part-time (30 hours per week)

Candidates will be required to stipulate whether they are interested in full-time or part-time hours.       

Contract Type:
Salaried- Fixed Term to 31st December 2022 (Project funded)

Qualifications: 
It is essential to hold a relevant qualification at minimum  Level 3 or above.

However it is highly desirable to hold a teaching or training qualification at level 3 and above.             

Details:
You will provide pastoral  support through the delivery of 1:1 and group sessions supporting learners to overcome barrier and to succeed on their courses. The Cynnydd project supports learners at risk of disengagement through their behaviour, attendance or attainment. The ideal candidate will have experience of mentoring and supporting young people, of delivering advice and guidance and will have experience of teaching or delivering personal development training.
