The Position: We’re looking for a Counselling Lecturer (Full time & Part time - available)

Main Function of Post:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Counselling professional to join our successful and highly motivated Counselling team and inspire our learners, supporting them to achieve their potential and progress.  You will have experience as a counsellor and as a qualified tutor and have proven competencies within the CPCAB framework. Experience of teaching CPCAB courses through levels 2, 3 and 4 is essential. The role is predominantly delivering a TC-L4 Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, with BACP Approved Practitioner Qualification.

Requirements for the role:

  • Previous teaching experience
  • Able to deliver counselling programmes from level 2 to level 4
  • Qualified to level 4 or above in Counselling

Responsibilities for the role:

  • Preparation, delivery and marking/assessment on CPCAB Counselling programmes
  • Working with the counselling team to co-ordinate and plan delivery
  • Support with interviewing and enrolling learners

The Location: The post is based at: Wigston Campus although you may be required to deliver counselling programmes at both our Wigston and Nuneaton campuses.

North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College (NWSLC) is a large Further Education college offering a wide range of full-time, part-time, Higher Education and Apprenticeship programmes over six campuses based within Warwickshire and Leicestershire.
