Gower College Swansea is currently looking for an enthusiastic and articulate Recruitment Officer to support its busy Human Resources department.

You will provide a high quality and comprehensive administrative support service to the Human Resource department.  Working closely with the Senior HR Advisers and liaising with line managers, you will provide HR administration for designated areas within the College.

Previous experience of working in an office is essential along with previous experience of working in HR.  You must have excellent IT skills and a high degree of accuracy. 5 GCSE’s with a minimum of C grade in English & Maths are also a requirement, along with a Level 5 qualification in a relevant subject.

You will demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills, be confident in dealing with people and be able to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.  Welsh language skills to level 3 have been identified as desirable for this post.

Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will be treated no less favourably than applications submitted in English.  Gower College Swansea recognises the importance of delivering its services in Welsh and recognises the need to grow its bilingual workforce.  We therefore encourage applications from candidates who can demonstrate good Welsh Language skills

Appointments will normally be made to the bottom of the salary scale with annual increments on 1st August each year (subject to completing 6 months service)
