We have a great opportunity based across our Northamptonshire campuses for a Student Achievement and Wellbeing Manager to become a key member of our Student Services department.

As a Student Achievement and Wellbeing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

  • Leading a team of Personal Tutors to maximise the student academic progress, learning, achievement, attendance and retention leading to positive destinations
  • Signposting and supporting Staff and Students in relation to personal and health-related issues
  • Designing and delivering a cross-college tutorial programme for personal tutors and students that is appropriate by level
  • Developing the careers service to maximise the student participation and provide support for bursaries to students

Our ideal candidates will have demonstrable experience in implementing a highly effective tutorial programme to track and monitor the students attendance and academic progress and a successful track record of leading and managing high performing teams, alongside the following qualifications:

  • Degree level qualification
  • Good all round level of education to include Maths and English to GCSE (Grade A – C) or equivalent level (level 2)
  • High level of computer literacy skills
  • Safeguarding qualification or Designated Person experience
  • Level 6 qualification in CIAG or willingness to work towards

39 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / 52 weeks per year

273 hours holiday per annum

An Enhanced DBS check will be required and you will be required to declare any convictions, cautions, reprimands or final warnings, which would not be filtered in line with current guidance.
