An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Campus Services Manager to join our team at the College. You will be integral in taking responsibility for the management and delivery of caretaking, property maintenance, porterage and security services at the Basford & NSEC, Arthur Mee (Stapleford), Haydn Road and Ruddington campuses.

The successful candidate will be based at the Basford campus but will be expected to maintain a regular presence on all designated campuses and may be required to work on any College site.

You will be responsible for creating and managing a cohesive high performing team, which provides an excellent standard of service to the community and users on each site. You will therefore be able to work effectively as part of a team and simultaneously inspire the team.

We are looking for someone with a HND level qualification in facilities / estates management and or significant relevant management experience in the same sector.

Experience and knowledge of Health and safety compliance, CCTV Codes of Practice, Data Protection Act and British Standards: Static site Guarding and Mobile Patrol Services is also essential.

The successful candidate will be customer focussed with a desire to deliver a service, which meets the needs of colleagues and the College’s customer base.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are a must as you will be responsible for collaborating across the department and College to ensure the service proposals are of the expected standard and aligned with interconnected departments. You will also need to communicate effectively with stakeholders including governors, senior leadership team and project sponsors.

In addition to this, we are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of successfully leading and managing an operations team.

You will act as a member of the College’s Emergency Management Team at Silver level taking an operational role on security arrangements associated with the College’s incident handling plans and emergency planning procedures.

You will also be part of an out of hours’ rota working evenings and/or weekends and out of hours as required including responding to emergency situations.
