Curriculum Coordinator – Maths

We are seeking a full time Curriculum Coordinator – Maths to provide leadership and direction to staff and students within our GCSE and A-Level Maths team.

Duties of this role include lecturing and training of Mathematic students and other client groups to quality standards set by the College, managing groups, timetables and working with MIS and Exams to ensure accuracy. We are also looking for someone with the ability to successfully lead teams to increase results, attendance, and the quality of teaching, learning and assessment and be a link for staffing concerns. Another key area for this role is managing testing (diagnostics) exam entries and ensuring performance data is entered on Markbook.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree or A level in Mathematics, or equivalent, have a minimum of grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent), hold or be willing to work towards and achieve, a Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Certificate in Education) or equivalent, along with commitment to, and evidence of, CPD. To hold Assessor / Verifier Qualifications would also be an advantage but not essential.
