Specific Hours: 37 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Derby College IT department, we are looking to hire a Senior Service Desk Advisor to lead the service desk team on a day-to-day basis.

This exciting opportunity requires an enthusiastic and motivated individual to be the primary contact point of the IT Service desk department. Diagnosing faults and actioning calls and requests within agreed SLA’s and sharing experiences to continue to develop in house processes. You will also be responsible for handling any incidents via telephone, email, and self-service.

You will also be updating knowledge base documents, how to help guides, and in house web user guides ensuring information is current and up to date.  A high standard of customer service will be required at all times.

Your primary place of work will be at our Ilkeston campus, although on occasion you may be asked to work from home. All required equipment will be provided, but you will need a suitable workspace at home.
