The Professional Construction academy at Derby College is expanding! Due to substantial growth of courses and apprenticeships in these specialisms, we now have exciting opportunities to become a teacher of Professional Construction. Supplementing this growth are new courses; Level 2 Gateway to T Level in the Built Environment and the new Government T-Level in the Built Environment this year.
If you have a genuine passion for this sector, are relentless in your pursuit of quality and want to help shape both the current and future of Derby's Professional Construction workforce, then we want to hear from you. We have high ambitions for what we want to achieve with our students and employers in this vital sector and, by delivering a range of industry designed specialisms from level 2 to level 6, we can ensure we maintain our reputation of delivering high performing individuals.
We are looking for teachers who possess excellent vocational knowledge and experience of the latest construction technologies and hold a degree in Construction and the Built Environment or Civil Engineering. We are also happy to support candidates who are looking for their first opportunity in a teaching position if they have the right industry experience and qualifications and are willing to work towards a teaching qualification.
