External Bookings Manager (Part Time) Fixed Term (Ref: LCC3015)

WHAT WE DO 

The Media, Music and Performance Production (MMaPP) department has a comprehensive offer consisting of 15 study programmes divided into specialisms: Theatre Design and Production, Musical Theatre, Acting, Dance, Music Performance, Music Production, TV & Film Production and Journalism. We moved into the Quarry Hill campus and have fantastic facilities that are very much in demand by professional and amateur organisations across the region. WHAT YOU WILL DO

With our new campus at Quarry Hill we have a new 180 seat theatre, 5 drama studios, 3 ensemble rooms, 2 recording studios and further classroom and performance spaces. The successful candidate will manage the bookings of external companies, liaise with internal colleagues and ensure the events are successful and lead on the administration and finance process related. We are currently hosting youth dance schools, 3 choirs, several professional theatre companies, a dance conference and many community projects. There is a real opportunity to grow this offer over the initial 2 years of this role.

YOUR PROFILE 

We are looking for someone to be the go to person for anyone wanting to work in our spaces here at Quarry Hill. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to build a role and develop an energy around Quarry Hill. The campus is already busy from 0900 to 1700 every day with the 4000 students who study here. The focus of this role will be to make it just as busy in the evenings, holidays and Saturdays.
