This rewarding role will enable you to make a significant contribution to the effective delivery of the curriculum, in line with the College’s Quality Improvement Strategy and to ensure a high quality and relevant learning experience for all students engaged in this area.

In addition to this you should have the motivation and aptitude to expand the offer and develop an exciting range of additional courses and commercial opportunities.

You will be required to plan and deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment in line with our required standards to a range of learners.

This will consist of delivery in both classroom and workshop environments to students on full time study programmes and apprenticeships.

In addition to this, you will assess students in accordance with the requirements of the programme, and will be responsible for developing programmes, ensuring they meet the needs of learners, employers and in line with Awarding Body and Quality Assurance requirements.

The qualifications deemed essential for this post are a Level 3 (NVQ or equivalent) or above in subject specific area, minimum of Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C), and a level 5 Teaching Qualification or willingness to undertake within an agreed timescale.

Many of the new routes require sponsorship from an employer. Luminate Education Group is not a licenced sponsor. We are unable to employ anyone without current, and appropriate right to work in the UK.  

If you are an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen and you were resident in the UK on or before 31 December 2020, you have until 30 June 2021 to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme, you can continue to prove your right to work in the UK with your passport and identity card up until 30 June 2021. 

There is no change to immigration and right to work for British and Irish Citizens.
