The Sport and Public Services faculty have an exciting opportunity for ambitious sessional lecturers to join our team. This demanding role acts as a key lecturer for a busy vocational area. The post requires the successful candidate to have effective organisational ability and excellent communication skills working with both students and staff. You will ideally have a sports degree with qualified teacher status. You must have excellent communication and IT skills and the ability to inspire young people through effective personalised teaching, utilising innovation and class room pedagogy. The available hours are delivering sporting curriculum with a focus on sports leadership and coaching at level 1, level 2 and level 3 of the BTEC / NCFE curriculum. The post will be based at Basford Hall for the academic delivery and Harvey Hadden Sport Village for the practical delivery aspects.
Our hourly paid lecturers also have 40% admin time for each hour of teaching and 45 days annual leave (pro rata).
