Workshop/Studio Coordinator - Fabric Lab
We are seeking to appoint a Textiles specialist, who is able to instruct, guide and support the work of students in a dynamic Studio environment while working with staff and students across the college to facilitate the many varied needs, modules and workshops that occur during the academic year.
Candidates for this key role would have a degree in a relevant discipline or industry experience. Experience of teaching and/or demonstrating a range of skills and processes which should encompass Screen printing with specialist pastes and binders, all aspects of Dyeing, Embroidery and Tufting, operating and basic maintenance of workshop equipment, as well as relevant experience in setting up exhibitions, a good level of IT Skills including Adobe Suite, experience with working with Health and Safety regulations, excellent workshop management skills, organizational and interpersonal skills with record keeping abilities.
