Head of Curriculum – Business Management Leadership & Apprenticeships

Reporting to the Head of Academic Studies, liaising closely with colleagues from within the wider group including programme area leads and heads of school, and contributing to the overall leadership, management and development of CU Coventry, the Heads of Curriculum will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality learning, teaching, curriculum development and academic and professional practice across a broad range of programme area groups at CU Coventry. You will manage a diverse team of staff, provide leadership and engage effectively with external organisations, driving the development of new provision aligned to demand.

Courses at Foundation, HNC, HND and Degree level are included in a range of subjects delivered by small multidisciplinary course teams. CU Coventry is looking for an experienced manager who can provide academic leadership, management and support to staff working in collections of subject areas, taking overall responsibility for curriculum design and development including development and implementation of new courses, new methods of delivery and forms of assessment as appropriate, and use of a wide range of learning resources to support excellent pedagogic practice.
