HR & Payroll Adviser

  • Location: Wakefield City Campus. Hybrid working options to be discussed at interview  
  • Hours of work: 37 per week

This is an excellent opportunity to join our HR and Payroll team in a role that will enable you to really make a difference.  Working collaboratively with our HR Business Partners in both Payroll and Employee Relations, you will be directly involved in ensuring our monthly payroll runs smoothly and to deadline, as well as providing HR advice and guidance, and direct support to our managers in meetings. 

Your strong attention to detail and numerical and analytical skills combined with a ‘can do’ solution focused approach will be the key to success in this role, particularly as you will play a vital role in identifying and taking forward service and system improvements.

If you have a focus on customer service, and you are excellent team player who is also able to work effectively on your own initiative, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to join a professional, experienced, and dedicated team.

As a HR & Payroll Adviser, you should hold:

  • HR or Payroll Qualification (level 5 or above) or be able to demonstrate a comparable level of experience
  • GCSE A*-C / 9 - 4 in English and Maths or level 2 equivalent
