The College is seeking an experienced, qualified, committed, highly motivated individual to deliver and assess on a range of courses in Computing and IT and in particular A Level Computer Science.

With solid IT knowledge you will hold a Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant IT related degree. A recognised teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards one is essential for this post.

You will have Software Development Skills, Programming, experience of Computer Architecture/Computer Systems, Networking and Network Principles including Web Design/Development (HTML 5, JavaScript, ASP.NET, PHP).

An ability to teach Level 4/5 in a IT/Computing related discipline together with experience of teaching to level 3/4/5 Database/Database Development (MS Access, MS SQL Server, MySQL) as well as experience  of level 3/4/5 MS Office based application (Using VBA in Ms Excel/Ms Access) is desirable.

You will develop and employ a variety of learning strategies, including the use of ILT, to ensure excellence in teaching and learning and the achievement of course targets for retention and attainment. 

A clear and confident communicator, you will have the ability to motivate and inspire students. You will have good organisational and problem solving skills and the ability to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team.  You will be prepared to work flexibly.

Byddwch yn rhoi ar waith ystod eang o strategaethau dysgu, gan gynnwys defnyddio TGCh, er mwyn sicrhau ardderchowgrwydd o ran addysgu a dysgu a byddwch yn cyflawni targedau cwrs at ddibenion cyrraedd a chadw.

Yn gyfathrebwr clir a hyderus, bydd gennych y gallu i ysgogi ac ysbrydoli myfyrwyr. Byddwch yn drefnus, yn medru datrys problemau ac yn gallu gweithio mewn tîm. Byddwch hefyd yn barod i weithio yn hyblyg.
