The College is seeking an experienced, qualified, committed, highly motivated individual to deliver and assess on a range of courses in Computing and IT and in particular BTEC ESports, ICT and Computing and HND Applied Computing

With solid IT knowledge you will hold a Degree in Computing, Media or relevant IT related degree. A recognised teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards one is essential for this post.

The ideal candidate will be able to teach from level 1 through to level 5. Topics will include Networking, programming, database and multimedia.

You will develop and employ a variety of learning strategies, including the use of ILT, to ensure excellence in teaching and learning and the achievement of course targets for retention and attainment. 

A clear and confident communicator, you will have the ability to motivate and inspire students. You will have good organisational and problem solving skills and the ability to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team.  You will be prepared to work flexibly.

Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will be treated no less favourably than applications submitted in English.  Gower College Swansea recognises the importance of delivering its services in Welsh and recognises the need to grow its bilingual workforce.  We therefore encourage applications from candidates who can demonstrate good Welsh Language skills

Mae’r Coleg yn chwilio am unigolyn profiadol, cymwys, ymrwymedig a brwdfrydig i gyflwyno ac asesu ystod eang o gyrsiau Cyfrifiadureg a TG,  gynnwys BTEC Echwaraeon, TGCH, Cyfrifiadureg a HND Cyfrifiadura Cymhwysol.

Bydd gennych wybodaeth gadarn am TG, Gradd mewn Cyfrifiadura, y Cyfryngau neu radd sy’n gysylltiedig â TG. Bydd hefyd gennych gymhwyster addysgu cydnabyddedig neu byddwch yn barod i weithio tuag at ennill un.
