HR & Organisational Development Business Partner
Perth College UHI is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.
Working in partnership with another HR & OD Business Partner, you will provide advice and
guidance on a range of employee relations matters in line with college policies, best practice, and current legislation. You will lead on the development and implementation of projects, policies and processes that support the HR Departments operational planning priorities with a focus on continuous improvement. You will also line manage the HR Adviser and have quality assuring responsibilities for processing of the monthly payroll.
The ideal candidate will be MCIPD qualified and will have worked in a similar role. You will have the ability to foster excellent working relationships, ensuring a high level of customer service. It is essential that you have up to date knowledge of current and forthcoming employment legislation/best practice. It is also essential that the post holder will have the ability to execute organisational change, manage complex employee relations casework and policy development. This role will also involve working with recognised traded unions so it is essential that you have demonstrable experience of influencing and people management skills.
