We are looking for four Learning Support Assistant roles to work with us in our internal Pastoral team.
These are variable hours roles that will depend on student timetables but will fall within Mon - Friday
The Events, Enterprise and Employability Department are a student focused department and have courses running from Level 1 to Level 3 provision.
The department has internal teachers, a Maths and English team, a Projects team to embed skills for their next steps and the large Pastoral team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
This role will involve:
Providing in and out of class support to meet identified needs of students who have high needs.
Providing curriculum teachers/assessors and SEND team members with verbal and written reports on students who have high needs or SEND and feedback against strategies used and progress towards outcomes on the EHCP.
Being involved in planning and preparation and assessment of learning as part of the curriculum team.
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking people who have experience of working within a team who support students who have high needs or SEND to support their learning through identifying strategies and preparing young people for adulthood.
Additionally, you will need to have strong communication and adaptability skills for the environment.
