As a purpose built, self-contained A level centre with the goal to educate and enthuse the next generation of learners, Dudley Sixth is fast gaining a reputation for being one of the best places in the region to study A levels. We consider ourselves to be the gateway to Higher Education, Higher Apprenticeships or employment for local young people. The majority of our learner’s progress onto university and many accept places at a range of Russell Group universities, including Birmingham, King’s College London and Manchester, as well as other local prestigious universities including Aston and Keele. We offer A level courses for over 550 bright and motivated learners in fabulous facilities, backed up with excellent support and teaching. Year-on-year, our learners’ results just keep getting better. In 2020 we celebrated pass rates of 100%.

In order to continue to build our highly successful provision we are seeking an experienced and inspirational Sociology practitioner who shares our passion for outstanding teaching and learning. The role will include teaching A-Level Sociology to first and second year A-level students. You should be degree qualified in this discipline, preferably to postgraduate level, as well as having relevant experience teaching A-Level Sociology respectively. A teaching qualification would be an advantage or a commitment to undertake this within the first year of employment is essential.
