Pastoral Officer - Part Time

The Pastoral Officer role will provide support to the Sports curriculum area through delivery of group pastoral tutorials covering Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare subjects. Responsibilities will include provision of high quality instruction and facilitation of learning, along with provision of support to course managers with pastoral, welfare and behavioural issues including safeguarding.

We have the following minimum requirements for this role; Educated to Level 3 or equivalent, hold a minimum of grade C or equivalent in GCSE English & Maths. You will have a commitment to CPD, and have the right amount of passion and empathy to support the development of students and young people, and an ability to work with them to achieve their maximum potential.

In addition to this, all successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced background check conducted by the Disclosure & Barring Service prior to employment commencing.
