We are looking for Learning Support Assistants to join our devoted Supported Learning team, providing support to a diverse mix of students.
We have a range of Learning Support Assistant (LSA) working patterns available, including, full time and or part time hours. We would love to hear from experienced LSAs to discuss how we can work together to make a significant and important impact on the lives of our students.
Our aim is to engage the young people, who may often lack self-motivation, to gain the life skills and qualifications that allow them to reach their full potential.
To achieve this our Learning Support Assistants provide 1 to 1 learner support, keep support log books, maintain support logs in line with EHC Plans and SEND reforms in ensuring high standards in attendance, retention and in providing effective support intervention in supporting learners at risk.
In this role you must be a role model to promote positive values and attitudes in supporting tutors to manage behaviour while participating in lessons, demonstrations and practical activities with students and trainees on all courses.
Our Learning Support Assistants play a key role in supporting young people on a daily basis and inspiring them to achieve success at Moulton College
We are looking for applicants that have;
GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent) and in addition you will be able to provide evidence that you have excellent interpersonal skills and are able to quickly build rapport.
Level 2 learning support qualification or equivalent or willingness to achieve within the first 12 months
Experience in utilising strategies to support pupils in achieving learning goals
