The Faculty of Early Years, Science, Health and Care at Nottingham College offers students the opportunity to study a range of courses.

Contract: 37 hours per week, Permanent

We are looking for a Health and Social Care lecturer who is a dedicated, enthusiastic teacher to join our faculty. The successful applicant must be able to teach Health and Social Care up to Level 3. You will be a responsible and confident teacher who has the skills to inspire both pupils and colleagues. You will have an imaginative approach to teaching that generates wonderfully creative lessons to fully engage and inspire your students. We especially encourage applicants that have experience in course leadership on BTEC Level 3 Health and Social Care programmes.

Applicants should have recent experience of teaching or mentoring. Applicants should have the ability to work as part of a team and develop and share innovative and stimulating teaching and learning resources. 

Applicants must be passionate about teaching in the FE sector and be committed to ensuring that our learners make the best possible progress. As such, applicants must also have a good sense of humour, the ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.

You require a teaching qualification or must be willing to work towards gaining this and be passionate about being a professional educator to young people.
