Curriculum Area Manager (Skills)

Pembrokeshire College has an exciting opportunity for an inspiring individual to become an integral part of an effective Skills management team within the Faculty of A Levels and Skills.  As part of a 3 year phased retirement plan, extending to August 2024, you will be coached and mentored by the existing current Curriculum Area Manager to gain the relevant management skills alongside undertaking an agreed teaching load.  This role provides an ideal step into the management of a wide-ranging curriculum and staffing portfolio and the successful candidate will fully step in to the role by the end of the 3 year succession plan.

Salary Details:  
MS1 Fixed Point - £41,919 annually (Fixed salary for phased period)

Contract Type:      Salaried (Management) - Permanent     

Hours of work:      
Full time -  37 hours per week 
(up to 501 annual teaching hours during the 3 year period)  

Holiday Entitlement:     
37 days plus statutory bank holidays & College efficiency closures (per annum).
