Technician - Plumbing

29.6 hours - Fixed Term - 1 Year  Scale 3 - £20,062 - £21,470 (pro-rata)

You will maintain and keep secure all systems, tools, equipment, instruments and teaching aids to ensure efficient functioning of Learning Programmes. You will also set up and maintain all workshops and classrooms for a range of class work, demonstrations and practical exercises for a wide range of courses. 

This role is key in helping lecturers overcome technical problems with associated equipment, computer systems and workshop equipment and assisting lecturers in the workshop during practical sessions - this may involve working evenings as part of that support structure for lecturing staff.

You will possess relevant qualifications in the trade and be educated to a minimum of a Level 3. The ideal candidate will have good general construction skills and have a recognised (indentured) apprenticeship.  

With excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population you will be passionate about motivating all learners.
