Associate Duty Warden

We have a great opportunity based at our Shuttleworth campus for an Associate Duty Warden to become a key member of our Student Services department.

As an Associate Duty Warden, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

  • Supporting the safe deliver of Halls of Residence, acting as first point of contact for students living in, holding and responding to calls and messages.
  • Supervising and promote wellbeing services for students in the halls of residence and uphold the National Minimum Care Standards.

Our ideal candidates will have recent experience of working successfully with young people and adults in a formal/informal environment and experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, alongside the following qualifications:

  • English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve English and mathematics Level 2 within one year

Contract Type Bedford College Professional Services Ltd (BCPS Ltd) 

 

Associates work on a short-term basis as assigned. They teach or provide support services and they work with and are supported by core staff.  As an Associate you will be issued with an Associate agreement, under this Agreement period you will be eligible to work on assignments offered to you.

An Enhanced DBS check will be required and you will be required to declare any convictions, cautions, reprimands or final warnings, which would not be filtered in line with current guidance.
