DofE Apprentice

A unique opportunity has arisen to work with DN colleges group and Duke of Edinburgh as an activities apprentice.    DofE Activities Apprentice will perform a vital role on behalf of DofE and DN Colleges.  They need to work closely with and under the direction of the Project Leader regarding the annual development plan, maintain a working knowledge of the programme delivery, support management and monitoring, deliver sessions to support students through their training and expeditions.  Within this role there is an opportunity to complete a teaching qualification.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) is a UK charity that makes a difference to young people’s lives and prepares them for life and work.  Over 300,000 young people per year from every possible background take part in DofE programmes to broaden their horizons, develop their leadership skills, learn to work with others, volunteer in their local communities, increase their employability, and prove to themselves they can succeed at a serious challenge.   

As part of the role you will need to have good communication skills, be able to plan activities, engage and maintain working relationships with a wide range of people.

You will need to be a great team worker and have knowledge of the DofE award.
