Joanne Manship , Head of Faculty for Digital and Creative, says 'We are currently recruiting for the very exciting suite of Digital T Levels including Digital production, Design and Development, Digital Business (Data Science) and Digital Business Support Services. We are seeking to build our digital team to support our delivery of T Levels as well as our level 2 and 3 courses. Our pioneering facility ensures students are both academically and practically prepared for work within technically driven industries. Our Digital department sits in our recently purpose built £9m Digital and Creative building that includes labs and workshops for our Digital technology students’

Oldham College is a medium sized general further education college, with a turnover of almost £25m. It has one main campus in the centre of town, and this in the third phases of a £40m redevelopment which began in 2012.   Higher education is taught on a second, dedicated campus, a short walk away.   The College delivers a full range of work related education and training, including 16-18 programmes of study, T levels, apprenticeships, adult learning and higher education.  It has over 5000 full-time students and 600 undergraduates.  The College is in the top quartile for 16-18 programmes of study and English GCSE resits, and in apprenticeship provision, but is the second highest performing provider Greater Manchester. The Role:

We are looking for individuals who can inspire and deliver learning to our digital technologies students. The successful applicant will join our computing team of tutors and will be responsible for the delivery of our computing curriculum delivering modules on topics such as Project management, Network administration, Database design/administration and programming. We are particularly interested in individuals who have good knowledge of cloud computing and virtual environments and or data analysis and manipulation. A teaching qualification is desired but we are willing to support applicants who are not teacher trained and are career changing from relevant industrial roles.
