Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a FE Course Manager/Lecturer to join our Animal Management Department here at our York campus. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is capable of working with others and is responsible, passionate and knowledgeable about the overall animal management sector and has an enthusiastic approach to teaching.

The role will be working 37 hours per week, on a fixed term contract until 1st July 2022.

Reporting to the Head of Department/Programme Manager, this role will course manage a range of Level 2 and/or Level 3 Animal Management students, which will include teaching across both levels. Responsibilities include the day to day administration and tracking of the students within your course management group, providing academic support and study skills as necessary and teaching a variety of modules across the department.

Educated to degree level or above in a relevant subject, candidates should hold or be willing to work towards a teaching qualification.

Successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
