A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Officer to join Nottingham College on a fixed term contract up until 24.12.2021. This is to provide cover for sickness absence and is subject to the return of the substantive post holder. 

As part of the Health and Safety team you will be integral in assisting the Health & Safety Manager and the other Health & Safety Officer withinNottingham College. 

We are looking for someone who is able to work within a busy and responsive Health & Safety team, with experience of conducting audit and inspections of workplaces, running and maintaining H&S compliance registers, First Aid and DSE provision and any other duties as directed by the Health and Safety Manager. 

The ability to communicate at all levels with a diverse range of customers is essential, as is the ability to effectively resolve any issues raised to the Health and Safety Team.

In addition to this, it is essential that you have knowledge of statutory, legal and company Health, Safety and Welfare requirements relevant to the post to ensure that the Health & safety Department remains fully compliant at all times.
