Work Placement Officer

We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Work Placement Officer to join our Construction curriculum team.

Supporting students to find and complete exciting and relevant work experience which will enhance their course. To work closely with the curriculum delivery teams to identify high quality work placement opportunities. To visit Employers and carry out face to face Health & Safety reviews where necessary. To look for further employer engagement opportunities whilst liaising with businesses and inform other college staff as appropriate. To deal with enquiries from work placement organisations, colleagues, parents and students in person, via the telephone, email, online or in person.

We are looking for candidates with experience working with and contacting a range of employers and clients, along with supporting young people in an educational or training provider setting.

Candidates need to be confident and able to provide accurate and consistent guidance to work placement organisations, students, parents and colleagues on work placement opportunities.

The ability to quickly build rapport with the students and a positive professional relationship with internal and external stakeholders and contacts which will allow you to excel in this role
