Moulton College have a vacancy for an individual to join our team as a Young Persons and Schools Liaison Officer, to perform a key role linking the College and local schools to raise the profile of the College, drive recruitment and help school leavers discover the best option for them after their GCSEs.

This is an exciting time for this post holder and the College, as Covid restrictions are lifting bookings for schools and event visits are increasing. The ability to go into schools and promote Moulton College is key to supporting the recruitment cycle. You will work alongside our existing post holder and with members of the schools management teams, careers service and the rest of the Marketing team to promote everything Moulton College has to offer.. This will include the arrangement and hosting of events both on campus and at our feeder schools, such as presenting at school assemblies; attending careers events and facilitating college based activities.

You will develop strong relationships with staff from our feeder schools and actively seek out new and innovative ways in which to introduce the College to this key market place. Working closely with our curriculum teams and marketing provision you will ensure the College offer is regarded as a positive next step in the learning career of modern students.

This role will may suit someone looking to return to the education sector as well as someone who is experienced in a teaching or associated role.

This would also be an ideal role for a candidate coming from a sales background, if you can sell a product or service, you can sell Moulton! You need to be a passionate and confident presenter who can inspire a room of up to 200 teenagers!

You will be a natural self-starter and enthusiastic with an ability to turn plans into actions and results. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate a proven ability to quickly build productive working relationships with a variety of people and stakeholders. As a confident user of IT you will be able to use technology to enhance your presentations and share information. We expect that there will be a continued requirement to deliver virtual events across platforms such as MS Teams. As a successful candidate you would need to be willing and capable of demonstrating a proven ability of balancing engagements within the working week with excellent time keeping.
