An exceptional opportunity has arisen for the role of Head of Media at Chelsea Centre for the Creative Industries, a specialist centre part of Morley College London.

Established in 1889, and with our roots stretching back even further, Morley College London is one of the country's oldest and largest specialist providers of adult education. At Morley College London, we provide lifelong learning across three centres – North Kensington, Chelsea and Waterloo – including 16-19 provision at North Kensington and Chelsea.

The Chelsea Centre has built on its heritage of creative practice with an ambition to be a leading institution for skills education in the Creative Arts and Industries as well as addressing the essential skills needs of the local community.

This senior role will lead the developing Media curriculum that has seen successful introduction of Esports provision alongside its established photography & media production fields.  The Head of Media, with two subject leaders, will lead an academic team supported by technical and administrative centre teams in pursuing growth.

You will be a confident leader thrilled by the opportunity to develop an innovative curriculum in collaboration with other like-minded individuals. Morley is a creative community that has an ambitious vision for new learning opportunities and the transformative potential for creative learning.

You will present a compelling vision for the future of Media and lead a team to achieve exceptional and diverse learning experiences for the future careers in these industries.  You will be excited by the opportunity to develop interdisciplinary learning in partnership with other curriculum Heads and collaborating closely with a collaborative leadership team with Heads leading on key cross centre priorities.

Morley College London aims to have a workforce that is as reflective of the diverse population that it serves. The College particularly encourages applications from women, ethnic minorities and disabled people who are currently under-represented within the College at this level.  We support applications from applicants with experience of course leadership who are seeking to take that next career step into a senior role.
