Gower College Swansea is currently looking to appoint a casual Customer Service Assistant to work on all campuses as and when required.  Based primarily at the reception areas, the key focus will be to act as the first point of contact for internal and external customers, both face to face and over the telephone, delivering excellent customer service and promoting Gower College Swansea.

You will be responsible for dealing with queries from staff, students, businesses and the general public both through face to face and over the telephone.  You will also undertake routine administrative duties as required such as filing, photocopying and managing incoming and outgoing mail.

Speaking and listening Welsh language skills at level 4 are essential for this post and you will be prepared to work flexibly where required.

Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will be treated no less favourably than applications submitted in English.  Gower College Swansea recognises the importance of delivering its services in Welsh and recognises the need to grow its bilingual workforce.  We therefore encourage applications from candidates who can demonstrate good Welsh Language skills

Gower College Swansea is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.  Appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check and require registration with the Education Workforce Council for Wales.
