We are looking for a dedicated animal care Lead Instructor to join our animal management team. Our established and wide ranging collection of exotic, small and large animal species is the hub of the College’s thriving animal management provision with students on courses ranging from Level 1 to BSc (Hons). The animal management lead instructor is responsible for the organisation, planning, instructing and assessing of students (from all levels) in a range of practical tasks relating to animal care whilst also, maintaining the excellent welfare and husbandry in the Animal Management Centre and supervising students during practical husbandry sessions. This is a permanent full time role working 5 days per week including weekend and bank holiday shifts on a rota basis.

The ideal candidate will have experience of animal welfare and husbandry and will hold an animal care qualification. They will also need to be organised, hardworking and a confident team player who is adaptable and happy to take initiative. Ideally you have experience with a wide range of exotic and companion species.
