Nottingham College offers a fantastic range of training options and tailored support to businesses locally and across the UK and our dedicated business engagement team works with more than 1000 businesses to help them grow and prosper. This new marketing role has been created to work alongside the business engagement team to deliver targeted campaigns to promote our offer, attract new business and help strengthen our relationship with existing clients.

With some business to business marketing experience you will be confident in delivering email, database and digital marketing campaigns specifically designed for a business audience. You’ll have experience in driving up leads for sales and you’ll be an excellent all round networker and communicator.

You’ll spearhead improvements in our communications through CRM, help to further improve our presence online and will work to ensure the positive impact we have on both employers and the lives of young people is recognised.

Ideally you’ll have a strong grasp of the work of colleges like us, with an understanding of Apprenticeships and other commercial training opportunities offered through colleges and training providers.

In return an attractive salary and range of benefits is on offer, including 35 days annual leave, access to the Local Government Pension Scheme, a wealth of in-house training and our KIA Car Scheme.

You’ll be expected to work for some of your week from our marketing office in Nottingham city centre, with some travel to other sites to be expected. Nottingham College is adopting agile working practices and some home-working can be facilitated.

The post will be shortlisted against the essential and desirable criteria at application stage from the person specification. Please ensure that you have a look at this specification attached to the Role Profile and complete your application directly from this, as these specifications are an integral part of the selection process.

For further details on this post which the job description and person specification cannot answer for you, please contact Cheryl English via email at Cheryl.english@nottinghamcollege.gov.uk
