Nottingham College has an exciting opportunity for experienced Part Time Assessor in the area of:

Residential Childcare 

Contract: 24 hours per week, Permanent 

This is an opportunity, which will enable you to pass on your knowledge, skills and experiences, to Apprentices by supporting and training them in improving their own knowledge skills, and behaviors, helping them succeed and progress within their chosen career.

The Assessor role supports both the internal coaching / training along with the successful completion of competency and knowledge based skills that form a key part in the transition through Gateway and onto End Point Assessment.

In addition, this role will manage a dedicated caseload of Apprentices that you will oversee for the whole of their learning journey throughout the duration of their Apprenticeship as they progress into Industry.

Working very closely with the Apprenticeship Team to ensure all apprentices complete their Apprenticeships in a timely manner within this key occupational area

The competence to deliver the following is essential - 

Option 1 Residential . Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare

Option 2 Community . Certificate in Higher Education in working with Children Young People and Families
