School of Foundation, Learning Support and Art

36 hours per week, 40 weeks per year

We are seeking to appoint Senior Learning Support Assistants to coordinate the provision of Additional Learning Support for students across all sites.  Working closely with other team members and curriculum staff, you will provide advice and guidance on effective support strategies for both low level and High Needs students. You will also manage a team of Learning Support Assistants and ensure the completion of relevant administration.

You will need to possess experience providing learning support for young people and people with learning difficulties/disabilities, both low level and High Need students.  You will have experience of assessing children/young people to identify individual needs, a good understanding of the range and types of interventions available and experience of producing Individual Care Plans.  You will also possess strong administrative and organisational skills, be able to liaise effectively with staff across the College and be able to lead a team effectively.
