  • Tutor Assessor – Plumbing
  • Salary of £24,701 to £31,357 Per Annum

ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful candidate will be ideally qualified to Level 3 in Plumbing and gas, hold a recognised teaching qualification such as PTTLS/Cert Ed or equivalent and be an experienced assessor. An IQA qualification is desirable.

As a Tutor Assessor in Carpentry and Joinery, you will:

  • Have prior teaching experience or experience of working within the construction industry.
  • Have a proven track record of a high standard of work and industry experience with a passion to inspire in teaching those interested in construction; have the ability to apply IT in the workplace and be a self-motivated, enthusiastic team member.
  • Have experience of working in work based learning.

Prior experience of City and guilds Learning assistant would be desirable.

As part of this role you will be required to initiate, develop and manage customer relationships with employers, in line with the sector strategy, maintaining an up to date knowledge of sector developments. You will also maintain an excellent success rate ensuring that students are given a positive and exciting journey throughout their Apprenticeship programme.

You will also be able to demonstrate an understanding of current developments within your specialist area with up to date CPD.
