The purpose of this rewarding role is to make a significant contribution to the effective delivery of the curriculum, in line with the College’s Quality Improvement Strategy and to ensure a high quality and relevant learning experience for all students on the course/s.

The responsibilities of the role will be to deliver mainly Biology to Level 2 and 3 BTEC students across the Applied Science and Forensic and Criminal Investigations pathways, plus our level 3 Laboratory Technician apprentices. The BTEC teaching may also include teaching the supporting subjects related to working in the science industry. 

The qualifications deemed essential for this post include a Degree/Higher National qualification or equivalent in Biology. The candidate will have a minimum of Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C) and a Level 5 Teaching Qualification or willingness to undertake within an agreed timescale.

Competitive Salary - up to £35,007 per annum, depending on skills, qualifications and experience. + Golden Hello Payment of £4,000.
