Higher Education Lecturer - Illustration & Concept Art
University Centre Doncaster is seeking to recruit a full time member of staff to teach on the BA(Hons)/FdA Illustration & Concept Art programme.
The successful candidate will have experience of teaching on under-graduate Commercial Illustration programmes of study and be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of innovative teaching strategies appropriate to this subject area.
They will ideally hold a Masters level qualification in Illustration and/or Concept Art or related subject area and possess a teaching qualification or be a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
There is a requirement to teach various modules across the programme including: Digital Illustration and Design, Drawing & Concept Art, History of Illustration: Theory and Practice, Major Project Vizualisation and Realisation, Professional Practice.
A depth of knowledge and experience of the following specialist software: Photoshop and Adobe InDesign is essential. Some knowledge of Maya and Illustrator would be advantageous.
