Higher Education Subject Specialist Lecturer / Academic Advocate Computing (40%)

UCNL are looking to recruit a subject specialist Computer Science Lecturer to deliver modules at levels 4 and 5 of our Computer Science programmes. The successful candidate will hold a Level 6 qualification in Computing or similar and be able to demonstrate a track record of successful teaching or industry experience.

Applicants must be forward thinking and possess a drive to contribute to the growth of the area and improvement of the student experience. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with Cloud Computing, IOT or Networking knowledge who can compliment and strengthen the department. We are open to discussions around variable hours for candidates considering this alongside other responsibilities.

Working within the University Campus North Lincolnshire (UCNL) the post holder will assume responsibility for teaching and the provision of personal academic support to students across the Computer Science programmes.  The role will involve working collaboratively across UCNL to develop innovative and creative approaches towards learning and teaching and new opportunities.

The role will involve working within a small team, liaison with external examiners and implementing quality assurance processes to ensure the policies and procedures of UCNL are effectively adhered to.
