We have an exciting opportunity for a University Centre Lecturer and Course Manager specialising in zoo animal husbandry, behaviour, research methods and zoo management here at our York campus. This is a permanent role working 37 hours per week.

The ideal candidate should hold a formal level 7 qualification or higher, either in the subject area or possess extensive working knowledge in the subject area. You will lead on the teaching of core zoo management, animal husbandry, research and behaviour focused modules. Working closely with the zoo and wildlife course team in the university centre and Askham Bryan Wildlife Park to support the delivery of the core modules across under and post graduate degrees.

You will have excellent communication skills, be experienced with Microsoft programs and be willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business and support outstanding student experience, marketing opportunities and industry engagement.
