We have an exciting opportunity for a University Centre Graduate Teaching Assistant here at our York campus. This is a fixed term 12 month role working 37 hours per week, with the opportunity to move in to a lecturing role at the end of the GTA contract for the right candidate and successful probationary period. This role will introduce the successful applicant into the workings and developments of a growing university centre to prepare them for a successful academic career.

The successful applicant will be a proactive and self-motivated individual, who will work closely with University Centre Team, the wider curriculum and college.

The ideal candidate should hold or be working towards a formal level 6 qualification in a land based subject area. You will have excellent communication skills, be experienced with Microsoft programs and be willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business and support outstanding student experience, marketing opportunities and industry engagement.
